The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over only. Only one entry per person.

The competition closes at midnight GMT on Friday 9 June 2017.

The winner will be notified by Friday 16 June 2017. The runners-up will be notified by Friday 23 June. The winner will be the first correct entry selected at random after the closing date; the runners-up will be the subsequent 20 correct entries selected at random. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The competition is not open to employees of Hampshire County Council, Hodder and Stoughton or Hampshire Cultural Trust.

Stay at the Old Vine is based on two people sharing for two nights, and includes dinner, breakfast and accommodation but does not include beverages. Stay is subject to availability at time of booking.

Stay at Oakley Hall Hotel is based on two people sharing for one night and includes breakfast and accommodation. Stay can be taken on the night of Wednesday 28 June 2017 only and is not transferable.

Entry to Winchester Cathedral, Jane Austen’s House Museum and Chawton House Library is subject to availability and special events.

£100 travel expense money is included in the main prize, all other travel expenses are excluded.

The promoters are Visit Hampshire (Hampshire County Council) and Hampshire Cultural Trust.

The promoters reserve the right to amend the terms of or withdraw the competition at any time without prior notice.
