Use your sense - start the weekend as you’d start any Regency ball: with a minuet! Delight your sensibilities with performances in the Great Barn from the Hampshire Regency Dancers on Saturday and the Duke of Wellington Dancers on Sunday.
Immerse yourself in the period amongst the Napoleonic re-enactors. Don’t be prejudiced - remember to salute and curtsey!
Assemble the family and sign up to our Lizzie Bennet’s Diary writing and craft workshop, led by accomplished author Marcia Williams*.
Marvel at the Whitchurch Silk Mill display in the Basing House Cow Byre.
For the younger heirs to your family’s fortune, enjoy Donkey rides** across the lush green of Basing House’s main site.
Spend some time perusing the book, food and craft fair in the Great Barn and avail yourself of a souvenir.
