On Sunday 25 June, Petersfield Museum presents their Regency Walk. In Jane Austen's 200th commemorative year and as part of Regency Week, we'll take you back to Petersfield during the Regency period. We do not know if Jane Austen ever visited Petersfield but her brother, Henry, was a partner in a bank in the town. During this walk you will learn why Petersfield was such a prosperous town at this time, look at the buildings that still survive and hear stories of the town's celebrities.
This walk begins at 2.30pm and meets outside Petersfield Library. You can purchase tickets online or at the Museum front desk.
