Jane's unhappy and short lived schooldays in Southampton ended with an outbreak of putrid fever, but there was more to Jane's early education and early writing than this traumatic experience.

One of a programme of talks put together for The Stinking Fish of Southampton Jane Austen Festival, hosted in the Georgian Room of Tudor House.
Each talk lasts approximately 30 mins throughout the day from 11.15am - 3.30pm, places are limited and are on a first come first served basis. All the talks have a link to Jane Austen's time in Southampton
