St Michael's Church was the fashionable church of choice for many admirals, gentry and fine ladies who flocked to Southampton for The Season. It was so popular that the church had to be expanded to enable room for the growing congregation, and its medieval stone walls were soon adorned with classical memorials and plaques from the Georgian period. Join us for a short tour around the interior of St Michael's and discover the stories behind the monuments. The tours will take place throughout the day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and will take 30 minutes.
The tours are part of the Stinking Fish of Southampton Jane Austen Festival.
