This event will take place in the Learning Centre which has a maximum capacity. Admittance will be on a first come first served basis.
Jane Austen may not have married, but marriage is a central theme in her writing and all her novels end with a wedding. A red wool jacket, reputed to have been worn by Jane’s mother on her wedding day, allows us to explore the world of the Georgian wedding – from family ones to fictional ones and not forgetting royal ones!
